Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum of 1-year radiology experience.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures following department protocols.
• Operate imaging equipment independently while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Maintain equipment and infection control standards.
• Gather clinical history and verify patient identity; explain procedures to reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety during exams.
• Administer contrast agents using sterile techniques when needed.
• Position patients correctly, apply markers and immobilization devices.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and adjust as needed.
• Document procedures and manage images in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies; maintain life-support equipment.
• Organize workflows and support department operations while ensuring compliance.
