Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a CT Technologist to capture precise diagnostic images assisting Radiologists in accurate diagnoses. You will produce cross-sectional images of the skeleton and organs, interact with patients to ensure a comforting imaging experience, and follow imaging protocols to keep radiation exposure low.

Required qualifications include graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT registration, WA Radiographer license, and CPR.

Competenze

• Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology with cross-sectional anatomy coursework or demonstrated knowledge.
• One year of work experience in the senior level of the core job family or any combination of experience/education.
• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT at hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) at hire.
• Medical Radiographer: WA at hire.

Mansioni

• Executes CT studies on GE CT scanners and related equipment.
• Explains procedures to patients and answers questions.
• Completes examinations including filming and locating old images.
• Delivers patient care for all ages and liaises with radiologist.
• Responds to emergencies while delivering patient care.
• Uses scanning parameters to minimize radiation exposure per protocol.
