Job summary

HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT imaging per established procedures. You will position patients, operate CT equipment, and assist clinicians with procedures while maintaining patient safety and radiation protection standards.

Responsibilities include patient transport, imaging documentation, and mentorship of new staff. A valid ARRT certification and Florida licensure are required or preferred, with BLS certification mandatory.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification preferred but not required for eligibility.
• ARRT (R) certification is required to perform CT imaging.
• Active state licensure or permit to practice medical imaging.
• Up to 1 year of experience in CT or radiology preferred.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanner to produce radiographs per protocol.
• Position patients using immobilization devices.
• Adjust exposure factors and equipment settings (time, distance).
• Explain procedures to patients and address concerns.
• Assist physicians with invasive procedures when needed.
• Expose and develop radiographic films and documentation.
