Atrium Health Union in Monroe, NC seeks a CT Technologist I to operate CT scanners, prepare patients, and follow department protocols. You will collaborate with Radiologists to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety, including IV contrast administration and post-procedure documentation.

The role requires ARRT recognition in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine, plus ARRT CT registry within one year of hire and BLS.

Formación

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized radiologic or nuclear medicine technology program.
• ARRT Radiology or NMTCB Nuclear Medicine certification and ARRT CT registry within one year of hire; BLS required.
• N/A to indicate no prior work experience
• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development and patient population competencies.

Responsabilidades

• Verify orders with Radiologist; resolve discrepancies and confirm patient identity.
• Explain procedures to patients and prepare them for CT exams.
• Operate CT scanners and related equipment with proficiency; monitor and assist during exams.
• Administer IV contrast per protocol and document type/amount.
• Maintain radiation safety and assist in emergency procedures as needed.
