Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited radiologic sciences program is required.
• CT technologist experience of 2–4 years in an acute care setting is preferred.
• Licensure as a Radiologic Technologist with CT certification or eligibility within six (6) months of hire is required.
• BCLS certification within 90 days of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images in accordance with protocols.
• Prepares and positions patients for CT procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Verifies patient ID and orders, screens for contraindications, and administers contrast as ordered.
• Reviews images and communicates findings with radiologists and care team.
• Maintains CT equipment and adheres to safety and infection control guidelines.
