Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited radiologic sciences program is required.
• BCLS certification within 90 days of hire or eligibility.
• CT certification or eligibility to obtain within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images per protocols.
• Prepares and positions patients for CT procedures.
• Verifies patient identity and orders; screens contraindications.
• Administers contrast media and monitors for adverse reactions.
• Explains procedures to patients and provides instructions.
• Collaborates with radiologists and healthcare team to ensure timely care.
• Assists with interventional CT procedures when required.
• Reviews images and communicates findings to radiologists.
• Maintains CT equipment and performs quality control checks.
• Documents patient history and correlates with imaging studies.
• Maintains supply levels and adheres to safety guidelines.
