Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join the CT Scan Department at Baptist South in Jacksonville, Florida. This full-time position focuses on delivering high-quality CT imaging, patient comfort, and safety while operating GE equipment and coordinating with radiologists.

Requirements include 1–2 years of radiology technologist experience, customer service experience, and hospital setting experience. Certification in CT within 18 months may be required.

Responsibilities

• Performing high-quality CT procedures according to established protocols and guidelines.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams.
• Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
• Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
• Educate patients on the CT process and answer questions.
