Job summary

SimonMed Imaging in Carlsbad, CA is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures at a technical level with minimal supervision, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

You will obtain patient history, explain the procedures, and operate CT equipment while maintaining PACS documentation and collaborating with staff. Minimum qualifications include state registration as a Radiologic Technologist and ARRT RT/CT certification, plus CPR.

Qualifications

• Requires registration as a Certified Radiologic Technologist (RT) with the State.
• Requires registration as RT and CT Technologist by ARRT.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures at a technical level with minimal supervision.
• Obtains patient history, explains procedures and addresses concerns.
• Produces CT scanner radiographs as required by procedures.
• Maintains PACS imaging documentation and safety standards.
• Establishes and maintains professional rapport with staff and patients.
