Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• Registered by ARRT: RT (R)(CT)(ARRT) or RT (R)(ARRT) required.
• Radiologic Tech (RT) in CA required.
• Advanced CT certification preferred in OR and HI.
• BLS certification required.
• Fluoroscopy license in CA if fluoroscopy is operated.
• Venipuncture certification preferred in CA and OR.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT equipment and produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
• Uses PACS and teleradiology to transfer images to the appropriate location.
• Maintains accurate records, files and billing information, ensuring HIPAA compliance.
• Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory.
