Qualifications

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT) is required.
• Advanced Certification in the modality of CT is required in OR and HI.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Fluoroscopy license in state of employment is preferred.
• Venipuncture certification is preferred.
• ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) or ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) are required.

Responsibilities

• Operates computed tomography equipment to produce cross-sectional images.
• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for interpretation.
• Maintains accurate records and adheres to HIPAA regulations.
• Performs routine maintenance and calibration of radiology equipment.
