Qualifications
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT) is required.
Advanced Certification in the modality of CT is required in OR and HI.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
Fluoroscopy license in state of employment is preferred.
Venipuncture certification is preferred.
ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) or ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) are required.
Responsibilities
Operates computed tomography equipment to produce cross-sectional images.
Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for interpretation.
