Qualifications

• Registered Computed Tomography Technologist by the ARRT.
• If allowable by state, certification by the NMTCB is acceptable.
• State license is required.
• CPR certification required.
• Active State Driver’s License necessary.
• Technologists performing mid-day moves are required.
• The COVID-19 vaccination may be a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety through pre-screening for contraindications.
• Produce high quality diagnostic images.
• Communicate effectively with customers and radiologists.
• Train new technologists and Patient Coordinators.
• Troubleshoot the scanner and peripheral equipment.
