Job summary

Memorial Health System in Athens, OH is seeking a CT Technologist to operate the CT scanner, position patients, and administer contrast agents for diagnostic procedures. You will review examinations for technical accuracy, transmit images to PACS, and coordinate with the Outpatient Scheduling Department while maintaining strict confidentiality and aligning with MHS Standards of Excellence.

Applicants must hold OH radiologic licensure, ARRT registration, and BLS certification; CT technologist

Qualifications

• Must have an active radiologic license in Ohio and ARRT registration.
• BLS certification is required.
• CT Technologist certification should be pursued within 2 years and obtained within 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Operates the CT scanner to obtain diagnostic scans as defined by ARRT/ASRT and Ohio rules.
• Reviews each examination for technical accuracy.
• Proficient at transmitting images to PACS and updating documents.
• Rotates CT call and schedules patients with Outpatient Scheduling.
• Maintains compliance in RQI and adheres to confidentiality and policies.
