Job summary

A healthcare provider in Simpsonville is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging using CT scanning equipment. Key responsibilities include ensuring image quality, performing procedures, and assisting with patient positioning and care. Candidates should hold an Associate's degree (preferred) and necessary certifications from ARRT. Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as CT or Rad Tech preferred.
• BLS Basic Life Support certification required.
• Certification and Registration with ARRT in Diagnostic Radiology required.
• Advanced modality registration in CT preferred or must obtain within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Assures the quality of all images and confirms that all pertinent patient/procedural data is correct.
• Performs computed tomography procedures.
• Properly positions patients on CT scanning cradles and immobilizes them to obtain the desired position.
• Makes radiation exposures by energizing scanner per physician request and patient history.
• Performs intravenous injections and administers radiographic contrast agents.
