Qualifications

• 1-2 years of clinical radiologic experience required or through accredited radiologic sciences program.
• CT technologist certification or eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT equipment and processing systems to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring adherence to protocols.
• Prepares and positions patients for CT procedures with appropriate immobilization for comfort and safety.
• Verifies patient identity, confirms physician orders, and screens for contraindications to the examination.
• Assists with contrast administration and monitors patients for adverse reactions.
• Explains procedures to patients and provides post-procedure instructions to alleviate anxiety.
