Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a CT Technologist for PRN shifts in the fast‑paced FSED setting. You will perform CT procedures, ensure protocol adherence and patient safety under Radiologist supervision.

Responsibilities include exam preparation, post‑processing, patient history intake, and assisting during invasive procedures and codes. A state license and ARRT registration are required, with an Associate Degree or higher.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of CT exam protocols and patient safety practices.
• Exam preparation and patient instruction responsibilities.
• Post-processing and data handling.
• Assist radiologist with contrast usage and invasive procedures.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of all CAT Scan exam protocols for specific exams.
• Be in charge of exam preparations and patient instructions.
• Utilize radiation protection methods consistently and use shielding as necessary.
• Obtain patient history and collaborate with the Radiologist on proper contrast usage.
• Responsible for the post processing of data.
• Assist the physician as necessary for all invasive procedures to provide best patient care.
• Assist during codes.
