Job summary

Medical City Healthcare in Decatur, TX is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform high-quality CT and X-ray procedures, prepare rooms, and ensure radiation safety for patients spanning infant to geriatric. You will help maintain a safe, efficient imaging suite and support department goals.

Qualifications include AMA-approved radiology training, ARRT CT or Radiography, MRT licensure, and BCLS; cross-training within 6 months if not currently ARRT-CT. One year CT experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiology Technology.
• ARRT-CT or ARRRT-R certification.
• MRT State Licensure (TMB).
• If associate does not hold ARRT(CT) registration, associate shall obtain within 6 months of hire/promotion or completion of cross-training program.
• One year of CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality diagnostic procedures in an accurate and timely fashion.
• Operates CT and X-ray equipment and processes images as required.
• Prepares CT room, equipment, supplies and medication as indicated for the procedure/exam being performed.
• Practices proper radiation safety techniques on all exams and ensures staff follow the same precautions.
• Maintains a safe environment for patients, co-workers and visitors.
