Job summary

Prisma Health in Blount Memorial Hospital seeks a CT Technologist to perform ionizing radiation procedures, identify patients, and coordinate with radiologists and nursing staff to ensure safety and accuracy.

You will document exams, prep rooms, operate PACS, manage contrast administration, and respond to codes. Requires ARRT registered, CPR, and radiologic technology certification; entry-level acceptable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT Registered.
• CPR certification.
• SCRQSA certification (Required for team members working in South Carolina)

Responsibilities

• Identifies patients and procedures; communicates with nursing or physician regarding patient status.
• Explains CT procedure to patient and/or family; obtains history and clinical information.
• Operates the PACS system and verifies studies before sending to archive; documents confirmations.
• Performs warm up calibrations and adheres to radiologist protocols; responds to codes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
