Job summary

AMI is seeking a Per Diem CT Technologist to join our outpatient radiology team serving the Toms River, Brick, Wall, and Manahawkin offices. Shifts run 7am–8pm, with a generous Saturday shift differential after noon.

Eligible Per Diem employees receive a 401K plan and competitive pay rates based on experience. Requirements include graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, NJ license, ARRT CT Board Certification, and CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
NJ license required; ARRT CT board certification.
CPR/BLS certification required before start of employment.

Responsibilities

Perform CT exams according to department policies and as scheduled or on demand.
Image reconstruction, archiving, filming and other software tasks as directed.
Review script requests for diagnostic procedures to confirm site and history.
Position patients accurately to center anatomy and minimize repeats and radiation exposure.
Prepare patients and initiate IV lines for contrast in accordance with protocol; monitor safety.
Operate CT equipment with ALARA principles and ensure high-quality imaging and efficient workflow.
Conduct QA procedures and calibrations; notify leadership of any out-of-range values.
Maintain patient documentation in RIS/PACS and ensure smooth patient flow and scheduling.
