Job summary

Atrius Health, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Per Diem CT Technologist in Boston, MA. You will perform routine and advanced CT procedures, maintain patient-centered care, and ensure accurate documentation in Epic and PACS uploads.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited institution.
• Massachusetts Radiation Control CT license.
• ARRT registration is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• 3+ years of CT experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced CT procedures using appropriate protocols to aid physicians in the diagnosis of disease.
• Provide compassionate, patient centered care and clear procedure explanations.
• Start IVs and administer contrast safely; monitor patients throughout exams.
• Optimize image quality using ALARA principles and perform basic post processing.
• Verify orders, document in Epic and ensure timely PACS uploads.
• Support STAT and urgent add on cases.
• Follow radiation safety, infection control, and Optum policies.
• Maintain room readiness and assist with equipment troubleshooting.
• Perform duties of radiologic technologists as required.
