Job summary

Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital in Hood River, OR is seeking a CT Technologist for per diem/variable shift. You will perform CT exams following physician orders and work with advanced CT equipment to deliver high-quality images while considering patient age and needs.

Key requirements include licensure and ARRT certification as well as BLS. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to a patient‑centered care team within the Providence system.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• BLS certification by American Heart Association on hire.
• Oregon Medical Imaging License on hire.
• ARRT Radiography certification on hire or equivalent.
• ARRT CT certification within 1 year of hire or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations according to physician orders using CT equipment.
• Adjust imaging factors and techniques to produce optimal images.
• Ensure patient safety and tailor imaging to age-related needs.

Per Diem/Variable Shift

Responsibilities

The CT Tech performs CT examinations according to physicians orders, utilizing sophisticated CT equipment, taking into account individual patients special or age-related needs. Utilizes knowledge and judgment in regard to imaging factors, imaging technique and patient treatment needed to produce optimal images.

Required Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
• Oregon Medical Imaging License from Oregon State Board upon hire.
• National Registered Technologist – Radiography – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire or,
• National Registered Technologist – Nuclear Medicine Technology upon hire.
• National Registered Technologist – Computed Tomography within 1 year of hire or,
• National Computed Tomography Technologist – Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board within 1 year of hire.

Compensation

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Pay Range

$41.13 – $63.86 per hour
