Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital in Hood River, OR is seeking a part-time CT Technologist for per diem/variable shifts. The role performs CT examinations per physician orders, using advanced CT equipment and adapting imaging for age or special patient needs, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensure required for imaging modalities as listed.
• Must obtain ARRT CT within 1 year of hire if not already credited.
• Oregon Medical Imaging License must be active at start of employment.
• National Provider BLS certification required upon hire.

• Performs CT examinations according to physicians orders.
• Utilizes CT equipment with attention to patient needs and safety.
• Applies imaging factors and techniques to produce optimal images.

Description CT Tech at Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital in Hood River, OR. Per Diem/Variable Shift The CT Tech performs CT examinations according to physicians orders, utilizing sophisticated CT equipment, taking into account individual patients special or age-related needs. Utilizes knowledge and judgment in regard to imaging factors, imaging technique and patient treatment needed to produce optimal images. Required qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association
• Upon hire: Oregon Medical Imaging License from Oregon State Board
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist – Radiography – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Or Upon hire: National Registered Technologist – Nuclear Medicine Technology
• Within 1 year of hire National Registered Technologist – Computed Tomography
