Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a part-time CT Technologist to operate head or body CT scanners and produce diagnostic cross-sectional images. This role involves variable shifts, including overnights, weekends and holidays, with patient-centered care across all ages.

Qualificações

• Graduation from an accredited school of Radiology Technologist is required.
• Experience as a CT Technologist is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Ability to effectively prioritize work and work under stressful situations is required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs CT procedures accurately and proficiently with an understanding of protocols for each exam.
• Knowledge in the proper use of PACS and RIS systems according to protocols and manufacturer recommendations.
• Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of computer language and cross-sectional anatomy.
• Practices proper sterile technique and infection control guidelines.
• Interacts professionally with all contacts and documents administered contrast accurately.
• Administers contrast media under physician direction and responds to signs of reaction.
