Qualifications

• Effective 07/01/2015, CT ARRT Certification required.
• Must maintain BCLS (AHA) certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• The CT Technologist provides quality images and supports the Radiologist in diagnostic procedures.
• Responsible for processing and transmitting images to PACS.

Skills

Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment

Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology

Proficient computer skills

Education

Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT

1. The CT Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality images.
2. The CT Technologist supports the Radiologist by assisting in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
3. Responsible for processing and transmitting images to PACS.
