Job summary

Providence St. Jude Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist for per diem 10-hour variable shifts. The role involves performing CT procedures with proper radiation safety and following department protocols to support diagnostic imaging for all ages.

The candidate will assist Radiologists and coordinate with scheduling and referring physicians while collaborating with other departments. Licensure and BLS are required at hire with 2+ years hospital experience.

Qualifications

• Must maintain required continuing education hours to renew license/certification.
• California Radiologic Technologist license required at hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association required at hire.
• National Registered Technologist - Radiography required at hire.
• Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography.
• Minimum 2 years hospital clinical experience from accredited Radiology program.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of CT procedures using proper radiation safety practices.
• Assist Radiologist and referring physicians as needed.
• Collaborate with radiology, other modalities, and scheduling offices.
