Job summary

Talented-Medical-Solutions is seeking a Computed Tomography Technologist to operate CT equipment, position patients, select protocols, and administer contrast per department policy. Ensure ALARA principles and patient safety at all times.

The role involves transferring images to PACS, performing quality checks, and supporting inpatient, outpatient, and emergency imaging needs. ARRT registration and state licensure with BLS are required; CT experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Computed Tomography imaging experience preferred.
• ARRT registration required.
• State licensure and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform computed tomography examinations on inpatients, outpatients and emergency patients.
• Verify patient identity and review each requisition for consistency with the clinical indication.
• Position patients and select protocols and technical factors to obtain diagnostic-quality images.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
• Apply ALARA principles and radiation safety practices to minimize exposure.
• Transfer images to PACS, maintain accurate records and perform routine equipment quality checks.
