Job summary

Care New England Health System is seeking a CT technologist to provide quality diagnostic CT examinations and nursing care for patient comfort and safety. The role includes scheduling, patient prep, contrast administration, and collaboration with radiologists to ensure accurate interpretations.

Candidates must have an Associate's degree in Applied Science with Radiology, CPR, ARRT, and CTD certification, with at least six months of related experience.

Qualifications

• Requires an associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• CPR certification is required.
• ARRT certification is required.
• Certification in CTD is required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and prepare patients for CT scans per physician request, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Interview patients for contrast material sensitivity and review medical information as needed.
• Operate CT equipment per protocol and monitor function.
• Prepare patients for venipuncture, insert IVs and administer contrast as needed; assist radiologist with procedures.
• Compile and analyze data for image quality and complete exams; transfer images for interpretation.
