Job description

Join an energetic, patient-focused team! Jefferson Outpatient Imaging is currently seeking an experienced CT Tech for a Part Time Flex (guaranteed 20 hours) position at our outpatient imaging center located in East Norriton, PA. If you are an experienced CT Tech desiring to work in a dynamic environment, please consider our organization!

Shifts can either be Monday 11:30am-8pm, Tuesday 10am - 2pm, and Wednesday 11:30am - 8pm or Monday through Thursday 3pm to 8pm. We are an ACR accredited multi-modality outpatient location with free on-site parking. No required weekends or Holidays.

Job Summary:
  • Performs computed tomography procedures and related techniques, producing sectional & 3-dimensional images at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed independent practitioner.
  • Ensures services are performed in a safe environment in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Serves as part of the imaging center team and seeks as well as provides feedback for improved clinical practice.

Requirements:
Experience:
  • Up to 5 years experience as a CT Technologist
Education:
  • Minimum Associates Degree in Radiology or a graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.
License/Certification Requirements:
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography, with current registration.
  • Must hold or obtain a CT advanced registration through ARRT within 12 months of employment.
  • Meet state licensure requirements for practice location.
  • BLS certification within 60 days of hire.
Skills/Abilities:
  • Skill in operation of CT and ancillary equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and multitask.
  • Accurate and concise documentation skills.
  • Understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, radiopharmacology, and medical terminology.
  • Knowledge of computer applications, including billing systems, digital archiving, and data retrieval.
