Overview

This is a part-time CT Technologist position located at Paoli Hospital. The hours are Saturday 6a-6p, Sunday 6p-6a, and Friday 8a-4:30p. The Technologist will qualify for the Special Weekend Option incentive on Saturday and Sunday!

Sign-on bonus available to eligible applicants!

Operates CT scanner, prepares and positions patients. Screens patients for safe scanning and safe administration of contrast. Obtains IV access, administers contrast, and recognizes/responds to adverse contrast events. Knowledge of scan protocols and selection of appropriate protocol to address clinical concerns. Adjusts scan parameters to ensure diagnostic images. Collaborates with radiologists and referring physicians. Follows radiation safety protocols. Performs routine QC on equipment. Stays current with continuing education. Assists in medical alert situations. Communicates effectively with patients, families, and care team members. Documents in EMR. Assists with minimally invasive procedures as needed.

Minimum Requirements
  1. 0-3 years relevant experience.
  2. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  3. Ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when patient condition requires.
  4. Active status through ARRT (Radiography or Nuclear Medicine) or NMTCB (CNMT).
  5. Advanced certification in CT through ARRT or NMTCB within 12 months of hire.
  6. Current Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) license as Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
