As a CT Technologist, you will be working with our Toshiba CT Machines to perform exams and procedures. Banner Estrella Medical Center was built in 2005 in west Phoenix to meet the health care needs of a growing West Valley community. Hours: Sun-Wed, 8 pm - 6:30 am

Opened in 2005, it features electronic medical records, computerized physician order entry, digital radiography, ICU monitoring, and more. POSITION SUMMARY

This position performs prescribed procedures following department policies and protocols, ensuring optimal patient care.

CORE FUNCTIONS

1. Performs procedures by verifying referring providers’ orders, using independent judgment and applying learned methodologies.
2. Educates patients and families about procedures and/or treatments, demonstrating professionalism and fostering teamwork.
3. Produces high-quality images, prepares and presents them with relevant patient information for interpretation, and maintains accurate documentation.
4. Demonstrates competence in performing prescribed invasive/interventional procedures, if applicable.
5. Performs equipment quality control, troubleshoots issues, and maintains a safe environment, adhering to safety policies.
6. Maintains confidentiality and adheres to ethical, legal, and professional responsibilities.
7. Ensures efficient workflow, monitors supplies, and maintains inventory to prevent service interruptions.
8. Performs procedures independently, collaborating with medical imaging, nursing, and other healthcare team members, as well as external agencies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Certificate or diploma from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• National Certification from ARRT (R or NM) or NMTCB (CNMT).
• State Licensure in AZ, WY, NV (Radiography or Nuclear Medicine and CT license prior to hire; not required in Colorado).
• Advanced Certification in CT within 18 months of hire from ARRT(CT) or NMTCB (CT).
• Certification for BLS.

This role typically requires two years of clinical experience, effective communication skills, human relations skills, data analysis, and problem-solving abilities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Additional related education and/or experience are preferred.
