Job summary

Lee Health in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (CT) to perform all CT procedures and maintain equipment proficiency. You will safely operate scanners and injectors under radiologist supervision, while applying CT anatomy knowledge to produce high-quality images.

The role includes patient care, performance improvement participation, and staff training involvement. Requirements include graduation from a JRCERT accredited radiography program and Florida licensure, with BLS/CPR

Qualifications

• Graduation from a JRCERT accredited radiography program or ARRT approved equivalent.
• State licensure to practice radiologic technology in Florida.
• Experience performing CT procedures and venipuncture is preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs all CT procedures with high-quality diagnostic images.
• Operates CT scanner and injector safely under radiologist direction.
• Maintains competency in CT equipment and anatomy/pathophysiology knowledge.
• Provides safe patient care and supports patient/physician satisfaction.
• Participates in performance improvement initiatives and staff training.
• Performs venipuncture for appropriate exams.

Department: Radiology - CT Scan
Work Type: Full Time
Shift: Shift 1/7:00:00AM to 3:30:00PM
Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$28.94 - $37.62 / hour
Summary
Performs all CT procedures and maintains a thorough working knowledge of the operation of all equipment in the CT area. Safely operates the scanner and injector in order to produce diagnostic quality CT images. Understands the computer software of the CT scanners and maintains competency in CT area. Consistently applies working knowledge pertaining to CT anatomy and patho-physiology to produce a high standard of quality images while under the direction of a radiologist. Provides appropriate and safe patient care. Works positively with all customers to promote patient, employee, and physician satisfaction. Participates in performance improvement initiatives. Participates in staff/student orientation and training. Performs venipuncture for appropriate exams. May transport non-narcotic medications as directed.
