Job summary

SimonMed is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver diagnostic-quality CT examinations in a fast-paced outpatient setting. You will perform high-quality CT procedures per physician orders, ensure proper patient preparation, and maintain accurate documentation across PACS and RIS platforms.

You will work with GE, Siemens, and Philips scanners, adhere to ALARA principles, and mentor students while upholding high clinical standards in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure current.
• CPR/BLS certified and current.
• 1+ year of CT experience preferred.
• Proficiency on GE, Siemens, or Philips CT platforms.
• Fluency in PACS, RIS, and digital image processing.
• Working knowledge of ALARA and radiation safety principles.
• Ability to lift/assist patients in a physically active environment.
• Strong communication skills with patients, radiologists, and teammates.
• Ability to manage workflow with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to mentor students and contribute to a positive clinical culture.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT procedures per physician orders and departmental protocols—every time.
• Maintain clean, complete, real-time documentation and utilize PACS/RIS systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues on GE, Siemens, or Philips platforms without slowing the team.
• Ensure patient identification, history review, and procedure explanation for comfort and safety.
• Mentor rotating students and contribute to professional standards and teamwork.
