Shift: FT, PT, and PRN

The role you’ll contribute:

Under general supervision, your primary duties include imaging both neuro and body scans on patients from neonate to geriatric, following age-specific guidelines, transmitting images for diagnostic interpretation, and keeping the hospital computer system updated. You will actively participate in outstanding customer service and maintain respectful relationships with all.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Complete all exams timely, keep workflow moving, minimize empty table time, and communicate effectively with patients before and after exams.
• Perform all imaging procedures safely, operate all equipment properly, and adapt protocols as necessary for patients of all ages.
• Properly screen patients of childbearing age, minimize radiation exposure, practice infection control standards, maintain a clean and organized room, perform QA on CT scanners, and handle hazardous waste following proper protocols.

Qualifications:

• ARRT and Florida State registered technologist, current and in good standing
• ARRT – R (CT)
• Current CPR certification
