Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a CT Technologist to support the Imaging/Radiation Oncology Department at the TXO North Arlington location. Role levels depend on experience: Level 1 (3+ years), Level 2 (5+), Level Sr (7+).

Under supervision, the CT Tech performs radiologic CT exams, ensures accuracy and safety, and maintains documentation and film processing. The position is on-site with a focus on high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• ARRT registration is required.
• Current IV and CPR certifications required.
• Certification in CT preferred.
• Level 1 requires 3+ years CT experience; Level 2 requires 5+ years; Level Sr requires 7+ years.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures as ordered with high-quality results.
• Advise physicians on appropriateness of additional/modified studies.
• Escort patients and assist with procedures and documentation.
• Develops and processes CT images; maintains logs and paperwork.
• Adheres to safety standards for patients and staff.
• Monitors equipment and performs daily quality control; reports malfunctions.
• Schedule preventive maintenance and coordinate with vendors.
• Order, log, and manage outside films as needed; release films to patients/others.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate recordkeeping.
