Position Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a CT Technologist to join our team. This role involves performing medically prescribed radiographic and CT procedures.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Demonstrate skill in using hospital and radiology information systems related to radiology, including patient data access, scheduling, and documentation, in compliance with HIPAA and departmental policies.
  2. Perform other duties as assigned.
  3. Maintain reliability through good attendance and punctuality, adhere to departmental guidelines, complete required continuing education credits, and follow safety and professional standards.
  4. Operate and maintain CT equipment effectively, perform tests to evaluate equipment, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
  5. Implement patient procedures independently, explaining procedures clearly, ensuring patient comfort and privacy, and positioning patients correctly.
  6. Assess patient information, verify identity, review requisitions, follow protocols, and recognize the need for isolation precautions when necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

Certificate from an accredited Radiologic Technology school, NY State license or permit, 2 years CT experience, ARRT certification.

Required Licenses: Radiography - R.T. (R)(ARRT), Radiologic TechLic IV-Cert-NYS

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced CT certification, 5 years CT experience, college degree.

Qualified candidates must communicate effectively across all organization levels.
