Position Summary:

We are seeking a CT Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will perform medically prescribed radiographic and CT procedures.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Operate hospital and radiology information systems efficiently, ensuring proper patient data management in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  2. Perform additional duties as assigned.
  3. Maintain reliability through good attendance and punctuality; adhere to departmental policies regarding time off and health requirements.
  4. Set up, operate, and maintain CT equipment safely and effectively, including troubleshooting software issues and performing equipment tests.
  5. Explain procedures clearly to patients, ensuring their comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the process.
  6. Assess patient information accurately, confirm identity, and follow protocols to determine appropriate procedures, including special instructions and isolation precautions.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Certificate from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
  • New York State license or temporary permit to practice Diagnostic Radiology.
  • At least two years of CT experience.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced Certification in Computerized Tomography.
  • Five or more years of CT experience.
  • College degree.

Qualified candidates must communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
