The role you’ll contribute:

Under the direction of the Radiologist, performs CT radiologic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical procedures that will require independent judgment and initiative to perform CT procedures and appropriate protocols for diagnosis; to include Interventional Radiology procedures with CT guidance. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.Technologist may still be required to assist in X-ray in addition to CT to meet department needs.Obtain ARRT(CT) credential within 12 months of starting this role and then transition to the appropriate CT Tech job description/role.

·Performs other related duties as required and deemed necessary per Radiology Director/Manager to include Radiology Technologist duties to include general x-ray and surgical x-ray imaging as needed.

·Follows "Standard of Behavior" guidelines per hospital policy.

·Maintains ethical relationships and cooperates with all personnel in proper conduct of department

·Incorporates patient, physician, customer needs and concerns into decision-making and organizational action.

·Transfers and positions patients. Lifting of patients is necessary at times.

·Initiates and assists in Code Blue procedures if called.
