Qualifications

• Completion of a 24-month Radiologic Technology program from an AMA‑approved institution.
• Valid ARRT CT certification.
• Florida Department of Health licensure active (CRT).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• 1–3 years of diagnostic radiology experience in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Select proper technical factors and perform diagnostic CT exams accurately and compassionately.
• Operate CT scanner, contrast injectors, resuscitation equipment, and related systems.
• Assist in administering contrast media and related procedures.
• Position patients and maintain modesty and safety during imaging.
• Document relevant clinical information in MEDITECH accurately and timely.
• Acquire high‑quality CT images for interpretation by radiologists.
• Stay up‑to‑date with software protocols and professional development.

Sign‑on Bonus: $15,000 available for eligible candidates for night shift and $10,000 for day shift.

Job Summary and Qualifications

CT Technologist ‑ Night shift: Thursday to Saturday, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. or Sunday to Wednesday, 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

We are currently seeking a Florida‑licensed CT Technologist on a full‑time basis. As a CT Technologist, you will be competent in performing diagnostic CT examinations across a range of body areas including brain, total spine, facial, sinus, orbits, thorax, abdomen, pelvis, upper and lower extremities, sella, and biopsies.

Responsibilities

• Select proper technical factors for studies and perform diagnostic CT examinations accurately in a caring, compassionate, and respectful manner.
• Possess thorough operational knowledge of the CT scanner, pressure injector, resuscitation equipment, laser filmer, and teleradiology system.
• Assist in the administration of contrast media and other related procedures.
• Prepare, transfer, and position patients as needed, ensuring modesty and safe use of auxiliary equipment.
• Document all pertinent clinical information before the exam, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on time.
• Obtain high‑quality CT images, ensuring only optimal images are submitted for interpretation.
• Remain proficient in executing software protocols and keep up to date with changes in the field through in‑service study, courses, or seminars as recommended.
• Maintain proactive and effective communication with patients and other caregivers, including the radiologist.
• Check equipment operation, maintain cleanliness to prevent cross‑contamination, and keep the room stocked with linens and necessary supplies.
• Accept on‑call and call‑back responsibilities as needed to provide optimum patient care.
• For roles in our free‑standing ER, proficiency in both X‑Ray and CT is required.

Qualifications

• Completion of a 24‑month program in Radiologic Technology at an accredited, AMA‑approved institution.
• Valid ARRT (CT) certification.
• Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and/or lifting of patients/equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Minimum of 1–3 years of current/recent experience in diagnostic radiology, preferably in an acute‑care hospital setting.
