Job summary

OhioHealth in Pickerington, OH is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our CT Scan team on the night shift. The role requires multi-modality training and ARRT certification, with licensure in Ohio and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

The selected candidate will perform diagnostic radiography and fluoroscopy, uphold radiation safety, and position patients for exams, while contributing to a high-reliability culture focused on safety, quality, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
• ARRT-registered and Ohio licensed radiologic technologist.
• Night shift availability; 36 hours weekly.
• Multimodality trained in CT, MR, US or Mammo.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine radiographic studies in diagnostics.
• Conduct fluoroscopic studies using digital fluoroscope equipment.
• Provide radiation safety for staff and patients.
• Position patients according to department protocols.

Job Description Summary

This position prepares patients for examinations and preforms diagnostic radiology procedures following standards and protocols set by OhioHealth and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). The position requires the technologist to perform procedures in more than one modality. Therefore, the technologist will be multi-modality trained and/or certified in diagnostics or dexa and one additional modality to include CT, MR, US or Mammo.

$15,000 Sign on Bonus with a one-year commitment to OhioHealth. One weekend every month.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Conducts routine radiographic studies in diagnostics
• Conducts routine and specialized fluoroscopic studies utilizing digital fluoroscope equipment; maintains proficiency in each of these areas
• Provides radiation safety for operator and patient
• Places patient in proper positions for procedures, adhering to department policy regarding routine.
