Job summary

Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT and X-ray, for adults and pediatric patients. On-site role with night shifts (8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.), four days weekly, Monday through Thursday.

On-call coverage may apply as needed. Minimum qualifications include an associate or trade school equivalency. IEMA licensing is required in Illinois (excluding MR/IR/CT/MR/BD/CI/VI/RCIS/RCES).

• Education: Associate or Trade School Equivalency.
• Experience: No Experience required.
• Licenses & Certifications: IEMA - Illinois only, excl MR/IR/CT/MR/BD/CI/VI/RCIS/RCES.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
• Performs CT and X-ray studies; on-call situations as required.
• Quality control and patient safety during imaging procedures.

The Barnes Jewish West County Hospital Department of Radiology at Barnes-Jewish West County is a highly specialized, full-service department which strives to meet all patient and clinician needs in diagnostic imaging and image-guided therapies.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.
