Job summary

Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist to join our radiology team in Idaho Falls. You will assist interventional radiologists with biopsies, drain placements, aspirations, injections, cryo and microwave ablations, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.

You will administer oral and IV contrast, operate CT scanning equipment, load injectors, monitor for reactions, and maintain ALARA standards while collaborating with radiologists and a supportive

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date.
• ARRT-R Radiography
• CT or ARR’T-CT Computed Tomography

Responsibilities

• You will administer both oral and IV contrast; evaluate patients for any allergic reactions; place correct IV for the exam being performed.
• You will be loading and operating MedRad power injector.
• You will operate and understand CT scanning equipment; practice ALARA standards; understand physician protocols and scan appropriately.
• You will be assisting interventional radiologists with procedures.
• You will be maintaining a clean work environment and stock the department with supplies and linens.
• You will be moving, lifting, and assisting patients on to and off the scanner table.

Schedule: NIGHTS 3- 12 hr shifts per week w/rotating weekends 6pm-6am
