Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Socorro, NM seeks a CT Technologist to perform CT scans, verify orders, educate patients, and document procedures. This full-time, 0.90 FTE role includes night shifts and a focus on safety, quality, and patient care within a large New Mexico health system.

Candidates must hold an associate degree, current BLS, and appropriate NM/ARRT CT licensure or provisional status with a plan to obtain full credentials within 2 years.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in radiologic technology or related field is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ARRT CT certification or CT technologist in training/provisional status required.
• NM Provisional CT License with plan to obtain full NMCT licensure within 2 years.
• Pursue CT certification pathway in NM recognized imaging disciplines.

Responsabilités

• Schedules, performs, and formats all CT scans according to procedures.
• Verifies patient name and procedure before scanning.
• Reviews exam orders via chart or verbal order for outpatient.
• Educates patients about procedures and answers questions.
• Documents procedures and patient history; conducts follow-up calls when needed.
• Assists physicians during procedures; prepares sterile trays and equipment.
• Anticipates equipment and supply needs during procedures.
• Maintains department policies, safety, and quality assurance.
• Maintains department and equipment upkeep including stocking supplies.
• Attends trainings and seeks continuing education for professional growth.
