Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking a part-time CT Technologist (0.60 FTE) in Albuquerque, NM to perform high-quality CT imaging with clinical judgment while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

You will educate patients, collaborate with physicians and nurses, and uphold regulatory standards. The role includes onboarding support, ongoing learning, and commitment to CARES values in a diverse, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and BLS certification required.
• Credentials: NMCT or ARRT CT certification required; provisional pathway with NM licensure is allowed and ARRT(R) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures with clinical judgment and patient safety.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care promoting comfort and healing.
• Educate patients and families on procedures and pre-procedure safety.
• Escalate clinical or safety concerns to leaders and care teams as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and teams to optimize patient flow and outcomes.
• Maintain protocols, screenings and QA checks to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assess patient condition and eligibility for imaging, addressing safety considerations.
• Maintain imaging equipment and perform calibration and QC per standards.
• Promote inclusive care respecting diverse backgrounds and lifestyles.
• Support onboarding and development of students and staff.
• Keep current with CT technology and imaging protocols.
