Job summary

Qualifications

• Education and Work Experience: Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred
• Licenses/Certifications: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: RT(R)(CT)(ARRT) OR RT(R)(ARRT): Required
• Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required in CA
• Advanced Certification in CT: Required in OR and HI, Preferred in CA
• Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS): Required
• Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: Preferred in CA and OR
• Venipuncture certification: Preferred in CA and OR
• ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) or ARRT-CT (ARRT-CT): Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification: Required
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS): Required

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for patients across age groups.
• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
• Uses PACS and teleradiology system to transfer images correctly.
• Maintains accurate records and ensures HIPAA compliance.
• Performs routine maintenance and calibration of CT equipment and manages supplies.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
