Wellstar Health System, Inc. seeks a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and patient care at Columbia County Medical Center Hospital. You will join a collaborative team of radiology professionals and contribute to a supportive patient experience.

The role requires ARRT certifications, 1 year radiology experience, and BLS. This full-time night shift includes a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance, with Wellstar CareerCare for education and career growth opportunities.

Competenze

High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.
Minimum 1 year radiology experience is required.
ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications; BLS certification are required.

Mansioni

Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
Operate imaging equipment safely and adjust techniques to maintain diagnostic quality at the lowest reasonable dose (ALARA).
Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms or equipment per infection control schedules; report issues promptly.
Obtain clinical history and verify orders and patient identifiers before any exam.
Explain procedures, prep, and post-care clearly using AIDET; address questions and reduce patient anxiety.
Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety; provide age-appropriate care throughout the visit.
Perform exams and administer contrast per protocol, using venipuncture and sterile technique when applicable.
Position patients correctly and apply markers, shielding, and immobilization as indicated.
Review images for diagnostic acceptability; repeat or correct as needed and release patients appropriately.
Complete accurate, timely documentation and finalize studies in RIS/PACS; manage transfers as needed.
Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and assist with life-support equipment as required.
Organize daily workflows to meet timeframes and support department flow.
Support operations, keep areas stocked, and follow regulatory requirements.
