Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a CT Technologist at Maryview Medical Center in Portsmouth, VA for night shifts. The role includes weekend option coverage and a potential sign-on bonus. The tech will perform CT scanning procedures and assist radiologists with related tasks, ensuring patient safety and quality imaging.

Required ARRT credentials with CT registration and strong patient-care skills; familiarity with EPIC and PACS is a plus, and on-call rotation may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• ARRT Certification in Diagnostic Radiology required.
• State licensure preferred (where applicable).
• Advanced modality registration in CT preferred or within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform CT scans and provide direct patient care.
• Ensure quality of images and correct data for procedures.
• Position patients and manage IVs and contrast agents as needed.
• Assist radiologist with procedures and sterile technique.
• Maintain CT IT systems knowledge (Radiant, PACS).
• Participate in on-call rotations.
