Job summary

Providence Swedish Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist to perform advanced CT and radiologic procedures in a high-quality diagnostic imaging department. The role requires independent judgment, technical expertise, and strong patient interaction to ensure safety and imaging accuracy.

Responsibilities include operating multi-slice CT scanners, administering contrast, starting IVs, and maintaining exemplary patient service within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology program.
• Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
• Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography --or-- National Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board

Responsibilities

• Independently performs CT procedures using a multi‑slice CT scanner, applying sound clinical judgment to ensure optimal imaging quality and patient safety
• Operates power injectors and patient monitoring equipment in accordance with established protocols
• Starts IVs and administers IV, oral, or rectal contrast as directed by the onsite physician
• Delivers exemplary customer service by providing clear communication, compassion, and professionalism throughout the patient experience
• Actively participates in a team‑based environment, maintaining a positive, collaborative attitude
• Continues to utilize radiologic technology expertise by performing diagnostic X‑ray and fluoroscopy procedures as needed
