Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a CT Technologist at Lancaster General Hospital (Lancaster, PA) to provide radiographic care for diagnostic and treatment purposes. The role requires careful patient positioning, protocol adherence, and clear communication with patients and families.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Radiologists, documenting in the EMR, and ensuring accurate billing procedures, while maintaining proficiency with hospital computer systems.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiological Technology, Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy School.
• Active ARRT in Radiologic Technology, Computed Tomography, or Radiation Therapy; or NMTCB certification as CNMT or in CT.
• CT credentials from ARRT or NMTCB within 18 months from date of hire.
• CPR certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine diagnostic radiographic CT procedures with proper patient positioning and technique as per LG protocols.
• Receives requests, checks for special instructions, and consults with Radiologists as needed.
• Greets patients, confirms identifications, explains procedures to patient and family as directed.
