Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist for Baptist South in Jacksonville, FL, under our Peak Staffing Internal Traveler Program. This 12-week contract includes premium pay and potential renewals for up to two additional contracts.

The role is full-time with night shifts Thursday-Saturday, 7:00pm-7:00am, located at Baptist South in Jacksonville, FL. The technologist will perform CT procedures, prepare and position patients, monitor vital signs, operate and maintain CT equipment, and

Qualifications

• Evidence of radiologic technologist experience and CT procedures.
• Active ARRT CT registration and ARRT radiography credentials.
• CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality CT procedures in accordance to established protocols and guidelines.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams.
• Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
• Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
• Educate patients on the CT process and answer any patient questions.
