Job summary

Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, part of Mass General Brigham, seeks a Radiologic Technologist with CT interventional experience to join our imaging team in Boston. Under supervision, you perform cardiac and CT procedures, review images, and coordinate with physicians to ensure the highest quality exams.

Required are an Education Certificate/Diploma in medical imaging and an Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT/NMTCB registration, and BLS; CT certification within 1 year is

Qualifications

• Education Certificate/Diploma in medical imaging required.
• Associate's Degree Radiologic Technology required.
• Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac and CT interventional procedures.
• Assist other technologists during procedures.
• Ensure the proper exam is being administered to the patient. Consult provider as needed.
• Review images and studies for proper identification and quality.
• Checks patient history, and obtains appropriate waivers and forms, if applicable.
• Identifies patient service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.
• Provides educational in-services to staff, advanced practice nurses and physician assistants.
