Job summary

AdventHealth in Texas is seeking a CT Radiologic Technologist to perform high-quality CT examinations and ensure patient safety and comfort during all imaging procedures.

The role requires 1+ years of radiology experience, ARRT RT(R) certification, and active MRT in Texas, with BLS. Night shifts are available at this facility in Killeen, TX, offering comprehensive benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in radiology (Required)
• CT training program completion or active enrollment preferred
• ARRT RT(R) certification required
• Texas MRT certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Responsibilities

• Positions patients accurately and comfortably, using immobilization devices when necessary, while ensuring radiation safety and ALARA principles are maintained.
• Follows department protocols for patient identification, informed consent, and time-out procedures prior to starting exams.
• Collaborates with radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure appropriate imaging and continuity of patient care.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the EMR and PACS systems.
• Educates patients about the exam and completes all exams in a timely manner, maintaining workflow.
